Making space for the tired and heavy laden…
May these words be a salve for your spirit, an invitation to tune your soul to God’s holy whisper.
Words are powerful.
In a time where anxiety and despair reign, may this be a safe haven on your journey. May you find freedom to sit with your questions, fears and angers. Or pause to rejoice in the beauty of messy lives lived with gratitude for what is. May you learn to keep company with your true self. May you find that above all, you are wholly seen, known and precious to the God who IS Love.
What is a Chaplain?
Breathing Room is written and created by Becca Robins, a Chaplain who practices pursuing the ways and teachings of Jesus. She writes with authenticity, humility and lots of grace for all as we muddle through the human experience as it is - full of both glories and sorrows.
Becca says, “A Chaplain has the soul of a poet. We see and move through the world slowly. We are trained to look for things that might be happening underneath what sits on the surface. We are challenged to be ok with unanswered questions, and to bring our own selves in the most honest way we know how as we engage with God, others and our environment.”
